Sacred Heart are delighted to announce we are part of The Stronger Starts programme.
The Stronger Starts programme supports 3,000 children across Ireland to access healthy, nutritious fresh foods every week through free food packages provided for them at school. These packages are tailored to be used at home, with the key ingredients to make a family meal, such as potatoes, carrots, onions, and snackable fresh fruits, and complements existing Government school food programmes.
We know that good nutrition at an early age can lead to better health and educational outcomes in future life, and through the Stronger Starts programme we are giving children most in need the opportunity to have just that.
