We are delighted to have been awarded the Amber Flag!
It was an honour to have INTO president Carmel Browne with us to raise our Amber Flag. This was a great occasion to celebrate the work our school does to promote positive mental health.
Carmel presented the Amber Flag committee with certificates after raising the flag in recognition of the work they did to help us achieve Amber Flag status. Then she visited our classrooms to tell us all about the work she does as the INTO president and to listen to the ideas our children have for making school even better. We all had a special treat of ice-cream then in the afternoon.
We will continue to work to promote positive mental health across our whole school community!
