Thanks to Sergeant James Rowan for the very interesting and informative talk he gave to 3rd and 4th Class about the history of the Gardaí. We learned about the different divisions and what they do, the various uniforms they wear (and have worn down through the years), how the Gardaí were set up etc. The children loved it and we may have some future recruits among us!
