Fís Films
The Fís Film Project is a nationwide initiative which invites children in primary schools to try their hand at film making. You can read more about it at www.fisfilmproject.ie.
Our school has been a part of this project since 2006. Pupils are invited to script, produce, edit and direct a five-minute movie. The movie is then entered into the Fís Film Festival in the Helix.
We have won the national High Achievement in the Art of Film-Making award for our film "Meagher of the Sword".
We had amazing fun and learning while at the same time achieving amazing results in the Fís Project.
